Scooby Doo Birthday Party Ideas

Thankfully, not all of the birthday requests from your children are going to be for things you have never even heard of. With Scooby Doo, you will have a familiar background of information to use when your child asks for a Scooby Doo themed birthday party. While the show debuted in the 1970s, kids today still watch the cartoons that air on television, and the show may be more popular than it has ever been.

With supplies from Scooby Doo birthday party packs, and craft supplies, you can create a great Scooby Doo themed birthday party.

A Spooky Mystery
What is Scooby Doo without a mystery? So, when you send out the invitations, let the kids know that something bad has happened and it is up to them to solve the mystery when they arrive for the birthday party at your house. You can even entice them a little bit by having a different clue about the mystery in each invitation so the kids all get together to try and solve the mystery themselves.

The Mystery Deepens
When the kid arrive, give them some new information and tell them an evil amusement part owner has kidnapped mom or dad and hidden them inside the house and it is up to them to find the parent.

Once they do, and you should try and make it hard enough so they will be occupied, you need them to figure out who the evil amusement park owner is. If you can, have a couple of your own friends come over, who can each pretend to be innocent. The kids can then figure out, through clues given by you, who the villain is. A good example of the clue is "The amusement park owner is an evil guy because people called him four-eyes!" That way, if you have four friends, three with glasses, they can eliminate the one without glasses.

Once caught, make sure your friend says, "I would have gotten away with it to if it wasn't for you meddling kids!" As we all know, that is a must with any Scooby Doo villain.

Scooby Treats
Once the mystery is over, serve all the kids some Scooby Treats, which can either be crackers, brownies, cookies, or whatever you may come up with. It is a good way to reward them for a job well-done.

Scooby Doo is as popular as it has ever been, and kids today are still saying "Scooby Dooby Doo" even after 30 years since the show came on the air. By using Scooby Doo birthday party supplies and these great ideas, you too can have a great time with a Scooby Doo themed birthday party.
